No holding back…

There is a saying “You are only as strong as your weakest link”. It also applies in the Kingdom. We need to invite God into every area of our life and not just our Sunday schedule and morning prayers but also in our family matters, business decisions, romantic relationships, finances, hobbies, passions, and the list goes on. We know we are in a battle while on earth and that we have been given the armor to stand against it (Eph.6) and that the enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour (1 Pet.5:8). The Israelites were told to paint the doors to their houses with blood from a lamb, protecting their families by doing it. If we still have a “door” that is not painted with the blood of the Lamb of God, meaning an area which is not yet surrendered to Him, then the enemy will find it and try and steal from us through it. Ask God today which part of your life is not yet fully surrendered to Him. Repent and invite Him into that area. Paint the blood of the Lamb over that door. Then at least you know, when the enemy comes knocking, it won’t be you answering.
